RIVER RAFTING

With Level 4 rapids, this activity will set your pulse racing and make it one of the most unforgettable trips of your life. Riverside barbecue, bonfire and other camping activities can be organized with advance notice.

NOTE: This activity is seasonal depending on the monsoon and water level in the river

MOUNTAIN HIKING

Rustic Charm Wayanad has several moderate hiking trails to points of interest around the property. Trails around our farm include the Brahmagiri Trail through dense forests which extends around our coffee and pepper plantation. Hiking with a guide at least once is highly recommended as they are overflowing with information on the flora and fauna in Wayanad and are experts at spotting wildlife. Along the trail, you will see birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and tracks of larger nocturnal animals, alongside various medicinal plants and mushrooms.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Our bikes offer superb maneuverability through the narrow winding roads of the jungle and the surrounding coffee estate. Biking through the jungle offers a unique perspective of the sights and sounds of the area while offering a fun fitness tour. Ask the front desk clerk or a guide for a bike key. Helmets are provided.

ADVENTURE 4X4 DRIVE

A scintillating drive through dense forests, an opportunity to spot wild animals in their natural habitat, rugged terrain for some offroading and a plunge in cold river waters - if this tickles the adrenaline in you; our guide would be more than happy to plan your adventure experience.

JUNGLE SAFARI

Rustic Charm Wayanad is located in the old forests of Wayanad that harbours a rich diversity of flora and fauna.

Grab your jackets, behold the torch and get going in a jeep past midnight; and you are bound to spot wild animals in their natural habitat. Elephant, deer and Indian Gaur sightings are common, but don't let your thoughts wander as you might miss spotting a big cat.
